The Red Lion at Hellidon dates back to the 16th century. Located in a picturesque country village, this project has incorporated the heritage of the building and the rolling countryside around it. Natural colour palettes and textiles were used to sympathetically enhance the age and influences of the building.
Lisbon dining chairs are covered in Nevada Truffle and Plain Sage and placed around farmhouse tables. The blend of comfort and traditional sit seamlessly on the solid wood flooring. Areas that can be dressed for dining or simply to gather with friends over a drink.
Slightly more formal country dining chairs have been used in restaurant destinations. Alongside farmhouse tables it really delivers the country kitchen theme they are so proud of. A blend of painted and mahogany woodwork has been used on the chairs to create depth and interest. Stripe sage fabrics on the seat pads contrast against the plaid design of the carpets but always remaining with the earth colour palette for continuity.
A beautiful cosy corner has been created next to the stone fireplace. A place to sit and relax before or after dinner, these areas can create points of interest and encourage customers to remain longer. The Chester sofa and Spitfire chair are classic heritage designs and give this location a real home from home feel. The lisbon chair in Aspen natural print and plaid carpet soften the boldness of the leather pieces. It could be a scene straight out of a hunting lodge!
