This well-loved community pub in Langford village near Bicester, has had an impressive refurbishment including a full new bar area, restaurant and a newly decorated garden area welcoming in guests from the local community. Operations Director at Wells & Co. said, “We’re delighted to have The Nightingale within the managed division and the refurbishment is stunning!
With a sports and game theme running through the bar area, clever use of high bar stools and tables have been placed around the billiard table for casual use whilst waiting for your shot! The Ohio Bar Chairs sit perfectly around the Chunky Poseur Table, and Button Top High Stools have provided useful seating under an otherwise dead space, complete with a handy shelf to pop your drinks on.
Create a focal point for your dining area to entice your customers in. A decadent Oval Dining Table was used here surrounded by the Luigi Dining Chairs, with the backs covered in Sanderson Fernery Olive and luxurious Leather seats they really stand out as a showpiece in center stage.
The nightingale offers a casual dining experience with good old fashioned pub favourites on the menu. To create that relaxed dining experience, mix and match the furniture so not to appear to formal and rigid. A mixture of York, Cambridge and Ohio Dining chairs were used in this space in complimentary Vintage and Weathered Oak woods and coordinating fabrics. Don't be afraid of using different shape tables and wood finishes too like these Stowe Dining Tables, this will only add to the character and ambience.
This project has used nature throughout the design bringing warmth and texture to the scheme. From forest inspired wallpaper and fabrics to rustic wood finishes on the furniture and fittings, this venue oozes comfort and a home from home environment to relax with family and friends.
